​What is included in the rental price?

  •  Comprehensive UK insurance cover for the primary driver.

  •  No restrictions on mileage.

  •  Breakdown cover anywhere in the UK (excluding Ireland).

  •  Parking for 1 car when you collect your motorhome from the depot.

  •  One-on-one tour of the vehicle before you leave.

Who can drive our motorhomes?

  •  Drivers aged 21 - 79 years with a fully valid license with a maximum of 6 points, held for more than 2 years.

  •  Up to 3 additional  drivers can be added at a cost of £5 per day per driver. The primary driver costs are included in your rental amount; fees will apply for extra drivers.

  •  All drivers MUST be present when collecting the motorhome.

What documents do I need upon arrival?

  •  All drivers MUST be present when collecting the motorhome.

  •  Fully valid license and a maximum of 6 points. Please call 07825817822 if you have any more, we will always try to get you passed with the Insurance company.

  •  Passport.

  •  International licence or passport with photographic ID (countries outside the EU).

  • Utility bill or bank statement to prove your home address.

  • We will also do a DVLA Licence check for all UK drivers. As we will require confirmation of your endorsements or lack of we will need to access your online DVLA record.  This can be done with the use of your National Insurance number via this link: https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence Once you have logged in, please select the “Share your licence information” option and select “Create a code”.  This code is valid for 21 days and must be brought with you on the day of collection or alternatively you can email this through to us beforehand.

What time can I collect and return my motorhome?

  •  Monday - Friday - Collect between 9am and 1pm, Return between 1pm and 5pm, keys handed in and unpacked.

  •  Saturday - Collect between 9am and 12pm, Return between 1pm and 3pm

  •  Sunday - Closed

  •  Please allow 1 hour for a demonstration of the vehicle held at the depot.

  •  Please note that there chargeable late fee for all motorhomes returned after 5pm.

How do I book a motorhome?

  •  Bookings can be made over the phone or by visiting our office.

  •  We require a non-refundable booking deposit of £250.00.

  •  The remaining balance is required 6 weeks before the collection date.

  •  If the booking is less than 6 weeks till collection, we require the full amount.

What is the minimum hire period?

  •  There is a minimal hire period of 3 days for UK and 2 weeks for continental use.

  •  Blockley Leisure reserved the right to increase the minimum period for special events such as; Christmas or Festivals – please call us to discuss.

Can my pet come?

  • Yes, however we have select motorhomes exclusively for pet usage. 

Can you hire a motorhome over the winter months?

  •  Of course, our motorhomes are suitable for all seasons.

  •  All motorhomes have floor insulations and double glazing.

  •  All motorhomes have heating and hot water supplied by gas.

What works on the leisure battery?

  •  All motorhome lights can be powered by the leisure battery.

  •  USB chargers

  •  Water pump

  •  TV/DVD

  •  Fridge

What works on the gas (LPG refillable gas bottle)?

  •  Gas stove

  •  Oven/Grill

  •  Hot water and heating

  •  Fridge

Does my motorhome come with power sockets?

  •  Of course, all motorhomes come with at least 1 x plug socket for a standard 3 point plug (UK plug). You will need to be connected to the mains to enable this function.

  •  All motorhomes come with 1 x 12 volt plug socket in the dashboard – this can be used for sat nav’s and to charge phones.

  •  All motorhomes have USB charger sockets in the dashboard.

Does my motorhome come with a TV?

  • All motorhomes come with a TV as standard.

Can I take my motorhome abroad?

  •  Of course, you can take all motorhomes to Europe.

  •  You will need to pay an additional cost of £10.00 per day.

Can I take my motorhome to Ireland?

  •  Of course, you can take all motorhomes to Ireland.

  •  You will need to pay an additional cost of £10.00 per day for Southern Ireland.

Can I take my motorhome on a ferry?

  •  Of course, all motorhomes can be taken on ferries.

  •  You will need to supply the ferry company with the registration number and length of the motorhome – details will be in the manual provided.

What if I am involved in an accident?

  •  Usually your insurance will cover the damage; however as every accident in unique we would need to investigate further.

  •  Breakdown cover is included anywhere in the UK.

  •  European cover can be included with the additional cost.

  •  Blockley Leisure will brief you on all accident information during your 1 hour demonstration of the vehicle held at the depot.

Is bedding included?

  •  Sorry but unfortunately bedding and towels are NOT included as standard.

  •  You can visit our ‘Prices and Extras’ page for prices on hiring bedding and towels.

Can my motorhome fit a baby car seat or booster seat?

  •  Of course, all motorhomes can fit a baby car seat/booster seat and cushion.

What comes with my motorhome?

  •  Gas stove

  •  Cooking utensils (including pots and pans)

  •  Cutlery, crockery and glasses

  •  Kettle

  •  Kitchen hamper (including washing-up liquid, tea and coffee, tea towel, cloth, sponge bin bags)

How do I return my motorhome?

  •  All motorhomes MUST be returned to Blockley Leisure, Southfield Farm, Drighlington, BD11 1JL on the last day of hire.

  •  All motorhomes should be returned with a full tank of diesel.

  •  All motorhomes should be returned with an empty, clean toilet dispensary system.

  •  All motorhomes should be returned clean and tidy (including food removal).
